Black Dog Institute
Black Dog Institute is a not-for-profit medical research institute affiliated with UNSW Sydney that aims to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.It is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, integrating research studies, education programs, digital tools and apps, clinical services, and public resources to discover new solutions, foster connections and create real-world change.As well as providing extensive online information about mental health, the institute runs support groups and offers a range of digital tools designed to improve wellbeing, such as its online clinic that connects individuals with personalised, low-cost, accessible and appropriate support services and resources, among many others.Black Dog Institute also partners with people with lived experience, governments, communities, schools and corporate Australia to create evidence-informed change in mental health.
