Financial Counselling Program

The Financial Counselling Program provides people affected by cancer with access to a financial counsellor who can provide practical advice and guidance to help manage the cost of cancer.

Our financial counsellor can answer questions around public and private healthcare, out-of-pocket costs, government benefits, superannuation, insurance, credit and debt issues.

They empower people through information, so they can make informed decisions about their health and long-term financial security.

You can refer your patient directly to Cancer Council for financial counselling by completing this  support referral form and one of our support staff will contact your patient directly within 2 business days.

Alternatively, people affected by cancer can access our financial counselling program by calling 13 11 20. It’s confidential, independent and free for all Victorians.
