Young Ostomates United Inc

Young Ostomates United meets two to three times a year as members' needs determine at a venue in St Kilda Road in Melbourne. The group remains in communication with each other through other channels in between meetings to provide support to each other. The group welcomes younger people, including children, with a stoma relating to bowel, colorectal and bladder cancer, among other conditions that may necessitate a stoma. The group is led by a health professional and provides education and peer discussion opportunities for members. Membership fees of $15 ($10 concession) apply; a gold coin donation is requested at social events.
