The Brotherhood of St. Laurence is a social justice organisation working to prevent and alleviate poverty across Australia.The organisation works alongside people experiencing disadvantage to address the fundamental causes of poverty and create a more compassionate and just society, partnering with the broader community and national organisations to develop evidence-based practical solutions.It offers a wide range of services including employment and education support, aged care and disability services, help for refugees and migrants, community hubs and tailored support for families and young people, among many others.The organisation also runs the Social Policy and Research Centre, which aims to spark lasting policy change that will increase opportunity and reduce poverty.
