Winda-Mara Aboriginal Corporation is a community controlled organisation located in southwest Victoria. It services an 80 kilometre area, with offices in Heywood and Hamilton.The organisation aims to provide better health, education and employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the area and their families, and for its community to access and participate in culturally appropriate services and community activities.Winda-Mara delivers a wide range of programs to meet community needs. This includes a GP clinic and allied health, playgroup, youth mentoring, housing support, regional local justice program, integrated family services, kinship care support, family violence support, health promotion and prevention activities, and culture and tourism services, among many others.
