Victorian Palliative Care Advice Service

The Royal Melbourne Hospital - Parkville

The Victorian Palliative Care Advice Service connects individuals with a specialist palliative care nurse or doctor to speak about any aspect of life-limiting illness, specific to their needs and location. The service supports people living with life-limiting illness and their carers and loved ones, and can help with navigating the palliative care system, providing practical advice about caring for someone, and more information about end-of-life care. It also assists doctors, nurses and healthcare workers with symptom management, prescribing and decision-making. The Victorian Palliative Care Advice Service is free and confidential. It is available from 7am to 10pm, every day of the year.
