Legal Support Program

Cancer Council Victoria

Cancer Council Victoria offers free legal services for eligible Victorian residents. The service offers basic Wills, Power of Attorney and Medical Treatment Decision Maker arrangements by matching eligible people with a participating law firm in their local area (where possible). These services are free for people who qualify via a means test. The services are delivered by professionals in the community who volunteer their time to assist people who cannot afford to pay for the service. Referrals can be made by health professionals completing a cancer support referral form (available on the Cancer Council Victoria website) or through the 13 11 20 Cancer Information and Support line.
