This Cancer Education and Exercise program is a Cancer Council Victoria affiliated program under the Managing Cancer program. The program includes 12 exercise sessions and six education sessions over a 12-week period, and the opportunity to have one-on-one consultations with appropriate Allied Health Professionals if necessary. Each participant will receive input from an Exercise Physiologist, Physiotherapist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist and Dietitian during the course of the program. Participants will be supported and guided through their journey and have the opportunity to create social connections as well as receiving care from Allied Health professionals. There is no cost for the group program and all other Allied Health services are bulk billed where applicable and able. People are able to be referred by any health professional, or self-refer with GP and Oncologist clearance.
