Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS)

The Continence Aids Payment Scheme is a yearly non-taxable payment to cover some of the cost of products that help individuals manage incontinence. It is run by the Australian Government.The scheme is available to people who are five years or older; have permanent and severe incontinence confirmed by a registered health professional; are an Australian permanent resident or citizen for as long as payment is received; and have eligible neurological conditions or other conditions as mentioned on the Department of Health and Aged Care website.Payment can be administered annually or bi-annually, and applications are made via the Department of Health and Aged Care website.
