Cancer Council Victoria
Cancer Council Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to reduce the impact of all cancers on all people. Working in cancer research, prevention and support, the organisation aims to change the environment to enable healthier behaviours through prevention policies and programs; increase participation in cancer screening, early detection and HPV immunisation programs; enable all people to have equitable access to trusted cancer information, support and optimal care; and discover new research to improve cancer outcomes and save lives. Cancer Council Victoria offers a wide range of support services including a free and confidential information and support line, wig service, peer support, financial and legal services, holiday break program, nurse counselling and extensive online cancer information and resources.
