The Australian Music Therapy Association is Australia's industry peak body for music therapy, which supports and advocates for the value and access of music therapy.The association manages the registration of music therapists, accredits university courses to ensure standards are high quality, manages professional development programs and provides job opportunities for its employers and members, among other work.It also offers free information about music therapy and a searchable database of registered music therapists across Australia.The association is a member of Allied Health Professions Australia and National Alliance of Self Regulating Health Professions.
