It is widely recognised as the authoritative voice on all funeral matters.The association is committed to developing and promoting professional standards within the funeral industry. It requires its funeral director members to honour a strict code of ethics and conduct.AFDA member firms must comply with the required standards for premises, equipment and vehicles and are required to undertake continuing professional development annually. Its member firms are chosen by the majority of families to provide funeral arrangements for their loved ones.
