Respiratory System
The parts of the body involved in breathing, including the nose, mouth, throat, trachea (windpipe), and lungs. The purpose of the respiratory system is to get oxygen from the air into the bloodstream and so to the tissues of body, as well as to get rid of the waste carbon dioxide.
