In memory of Gilly Morris

Gilly Morris

The Morris family appreciates your donation to honour the legacy Gilly Morris left when she passed away on 26 June surrounded by those closest to her. Gilly was diagnosed with brain cancer in September 2020 and defied the odds to live for almost three years with a terminal prognosis. While we are heartbroken that Gilly is one of 1500 Australians who will die from brain cancer in 2023, we are committed to honouring her spirit - which was always to help others at every opportunity - via this donations page. Unfortunately, the diagnosis of a glioblastoma is a death sentence. Gilly fought incredibly, but there was nothing else she or her amazing doctors could do to save her from this insidious disease. Our aim is to play a role - no matter how small - so scientists far smarter than us can eventually find a cure. In lieu of flowers for her memorial service, we ask you give kindly on this page. It's what our beloved Gilly wanted. We love her and will miss her every day. Love, Timmy, Tommy, Anna and Kooie ❤️❤️
