The Victorian Aboriginal Health Service provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and social services for the Victorian Indigenous community.
It is committed to supporting the wellbeing of the community through contributions to events and activities, as well as assisting research into the ongoing needs of the community.
Services offered include a medical clinic, dental services, family counselling, women and children support, men's unit, preventative health and community programs, among others. It also runs a free and confidential counselling service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples called Yarning SafeNStrong, which provides support with social and emotional wellbeing, financial wellbeing, medical support including COVID-19 testing, drug and alcohol counselling and rehabilitation services.
