Harindra is a public health physician and cancer epidemiologist with expertise in the analysis of large observational study datasets. Harindra’s research focuses on cancer risk related to lifestyle-related factors particularly alcohol use, aetiology of gastro-oesophageal cancer and precancerous lesions, and metachronous cancer, and cancer prevention.
He currently leads US NCI Cohort Consortium pooling projects on stomach cancer and oesophageal cancer, funded by CI-A grants from the National Health and Medical Research Council and World Cancer Research Fund.
