The Aboriginal Yarning Circle at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is a support group that is open to First Nations people at all stages of their diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. The group provides the space for cancer patients to yarn with other community who understand what it means to be diagnosed with cancer. It also hosts guest speakers who talk about things like sleep, nutrition, and exercise. You do not need to be a Peter Mac patient to attend, and can choose to join in person or, alternatively, people all over Australia can join online via Zoom.
