Clinical Network

The Clinical Network aims to improve the capacity of the Victorian cancer clinical community through education, policy work, and by supporting best practice evidenced based cancer care.  It harnesses the collective voice of clinicians and researchers to improve outcomes for all Victorians affected by cancer.  The Clinical Network also advises Cancer Council on all clinical aspects of cancer.

Established in 1976, initially as the Victorian Co-operative Oncology Group (VCOG), Cancer Council's Clinical Network is a peak multi-specialty representative oncology forum in Victoria. It brings together over 600 multidisciplinary health professionals (such as oncologists, surgeons, palliative care physicians, nurses, allied health and primary health professionals) and researchers who work with people affected by cancer to support best practice and evidenced based cancer care.
