St Vincent's Hospital is a tertiary public healthcare service that serves a diverse community. Geographically, its primary catchment takes in the municipalities of Yarra, Boroondara, Darebin and Moreland, however many patients live outside of these regions. The service is spread over campuses including St Vincent Hospital Melbourne, Fitzroy, Caritas Christi Campus, Kew and St Georges Health Service, Kew. It also operates aged care facilities in four locations. The hospital's Cancer Centre provides multidisciplinary care for cancer patients in the one location. It runs consultation clinics for medical oncology, clinical haematology, sarcoma, clinical palliative care and psychosocial cancer care. It also offers a chemotherapy day unit, cancer centre pharmacy, clinical trial unit for oncology and haematology, and a range of cancer services. Cancer Nurse Coordinators are available to support patients across their cancer journey and provide relevant information and resources.
