This project will examine a variety of cancer-causing genes that are the cause of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, a common childhood cancer. It will examine whether these genes use similar or distinct molecular pathways to cause leukaemia. In addition, we will examine how different cancer-causing genes co-operate to result in leukaemia. This may lead to new therapeutic targets for the treatment of childhood T-cell leukaemia.
