Breast cancer patients who suffer from a recurrence of their disease have a poor prognosis. We have identified a protein that prevents the spread of breast cancer in animal models of the disease.
The aim of this project is to understand how this protein stops the spread of cancer with the goal of finding a new therapy to prevent this life threatening aspect of the disease.
