Reporting suspicious fundraising activity
If you are concerned a fundraiser may not be registered with the Cancer Council or another charity, you may wish to report them to Consumer Affairs Victoria (who are the regulatory body) or to the local police. Consumer Affairs can be contacted on 1300 55 81 81.
We also suggest that you do not respond to anyone who you think is suspicious. Charity fundraisers should always carry proper identification.
