Optimising cancer care - survey of cancer clinicians

In early 2011, the Clinical Network surveyed Victorian cancer clinicians and health professionals to ascertain the strategies clinicians believed were important to optimising cancer care in Victoria. Over 190 Victorian clinicians participated. The results will also form a baseline for future clinician surveys. 

The survey results will be used to:
  • inform advocacy initiatives for the Clinical Network and Cancer Council Victoria
  • identify perceptions about the Cancer Services Framework reforms
  • identify strategies needed to optimise cancer care in Victoria, and
  • map the cancer clinical workforce in Victoria.
