In 2016, Cancer Council Victoria is again offering free "Look Good...Feel Better" workshops at our St Kilda Road premises. In a relaxed and friendly environment you will learn how to manage the appearance-related side-effects of cancer treatment.
Look Good...Feel Better workshops run for two and half hours with focus on practical tips and tricks to help patients overcome temporary changes to their appearance as a result of chemotherapy or radiotherapy. You'll be supported by a team of trained volunteers who teach skincare techniques to alleviate symptoms like dryness and sallowness; share make-up tips to help with concealing redness and drawing on eyebrows; and give advice on headwear including scarf styling and wig selection.
