For the Port Arlington Golf Club, The Longest Day evolved beyond being just a fundraising event. It's an opportunity for members to reconnect, fostering relationships with each other and inviting friends they hadn't seen for months or even years.
One group, led by the dedicated Trung, holds a special place in everyone’s hearts. Over 20 people joined Trung throughout the day, turning his solitary endeavour into a meaningful gathering.
Mark Hayes, the Business Development Manager, emphasised the crucial role played by the club’s volunteers in the event's success. The community showed up and rallied to support participants and staff.
