Arts Awards
Established as a means for people affected by cancer to communicate their experiences in a creative way, our Arts Awards program is an national, annual event that accepts entries in 9 categories:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Visual Art
- Children's Art (up to 12 years)
- Children's Writing (up to 12 years)
- Film
- Poetry
- Short Story
- Visual Art
- Youth Art (13-17 Years)
- Youth Writing (13-17 Years)
The Arts Awards, in its 16th year has a theme for 2013 of Balance: Cancer can change the balance of life. It can bring chaos, confusion, a sense of clarity, even a sense of empowerment. Share your experiences with us.
Entries close on the 29th of July 2013 at 5pm.

Prizes
Prizes are awarded to one Outstanding, one Highly Commended and one Commended entry in each category.
- Outstanding in the adults categories receives a $1,000 prize
- Outstanding youth categories receive $500 in cash or prizes
- Outstanding children's categories receive $250 in cash or prizes
Highly Commended and Commended entries win prizes donated by our very generous sponsors.
