The Cancer Connections website is a national forum-based site, where those affected by cancer can share their experiences and thoughts with others.
We also run real-time internet support groups for people with cancer online. These are especially good for people who have difficulty travelling. Groups of up to 8 people meet through this site at set times. If you join one of these groups, you'll receive a password so you can log in to a secure area. After logging in, you'll see a screen where you and other people who are logged in add their messages and questions. It happens in 'real time' - so it's like a discussion.
If you'd like to be part of an online support group, or find out more, call our Cancer Council Helpline on 13 11 20 or email csg@cancervic.org.au
Note: these groups are moderated and anyone who tries to promote or sell an untested or alternative treatment will be excluded.
