Breast Care Nursing: Foundations for Practice is a distance education program that has been conducted for more than 10 years through a partnership with La Trobe University. Around 900 nurses have graduated as accredited Breast Care Nurses throughout Australia since the course began.
This program is available as a single unit of study or core unit in the pathway to a Masters degree. The Master of Nursing (Breast Care) is a one-and-a-half-year full-time or two-to-three-year part-time award with exit options available at either graduate certificate (one year part-time, 60 credit points) or the post graduate diploma (one year full-time, or two years part-time, 120 credit points).
On completion of the Breast Care Nursing: Foundations for Practice subject, we'll link you into a broad range of information and support services to support you in the delivery of your clinical role. Register your details using our opt-in form.
