The Western Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group meets monthly on a Tuesday from 12.30pm to 3pm, usually at a health venue in Altona Meadows but sometimes at local cafes for lunch. The group receives support from staff at ISIS Primary Care. The group welcomes women affected by breast cancer and their families and friends. Activities include peer discussion, social activities, education sessions, relaxation sessions, therapeutic activities provided by qualified professionals and some fundraising. Interpreters can be arranged if the leader is notified in advance. Meetings are free to attend. Call 13 11 20 for more information, including the exact address, and to be put in contact with the group leader.
Please note: Meeting location and contact details are not displayed publicly to protect the privacy and safety of all group participants. Call 13 11 20 for more information about a group.
If you can't find what you need, try entering a keyword to search the whole record: for example women or stoma or Werribee.
If there are no groups for the specific cancer type you are looking for, consider whether a group without a specific cancer focus would suit you or call 13 11 20 to find individual supports.
