Description

The Shepparton Cancer Support Group meets on a Wednesday morning at 10am at a community venue in Shepparton. It receives support from staff at Primary Care Connect. The group supports people with any cancer type and their friends, family members and support people. Activities include peer discussion, social activities, education sessions and some fundraising. Interpreters can be organised for the meeting if advance notice is given. There are no fees to attend but members are encouraged to bring a plate of food to share if they are able to. For more information, including to be connected to the group leaders, please call 13 11 20.

Please note: Meeting location and contact details are not displayed publicly to protect the privacy and safety of all group participants. Call 13 11 20 for more information about a group.

Can't find a group that suits you?

If you can't find what you need, try entering a keyword to search the whole record: for example women or stoma or Werribee.

If there are no groups for the specific cancer type you are looking for, consider whether a group without a specific cancer focus would suit you or call 13 11 20 to find individual supports.

We thank Cancer Australia and the Ralph Lauren 'Pink Pony' Grants Program for the funds to develop this search tool.
