Description

The Mornington Peninsula Women's Cancer Support Group meets monthly on a Wednesday afternoon (12.30pm to 2pm) at the Bays Hospital. The group receives support from nursing staff at the Hospital. Activities include peer discussion, social activities, education sessions, relaxation and meditation sessions and therapeutic activities conducted by qualified practitioners. The group welcomes women with any kind of cancer and their partners. The group also offers a community freezer for short term meal help for people undergoing treatment and support through a Facebook page. Meetings are free to attend. Call 13 11 20 for more information and to be put in contact with the group leader.

Please note: Meeting location and contact details are not displayed publicly to protect the privacy and safety of all group participants. Call 13 11 20 for more information about a group.

Can't find a group that suits you?

If you can't find what you need, try entering a keyword to search the whole record: for example women or stoma or Werribee.

If there are no groups for the specific cancer type you are looking for, consider whether a group without a specific cancer focus would suit you or call 13 11 20 to find individual supports.

We thank Cancer Australia and the Ralph Lauren 'Pink Pony' Grants Program for the funds to develop this search tool.
