The Banyule "Forget Me Nots" Breast Cancer Support Group meets on the first Monday of the month (except for November, when it meets on the second Monday) from 10am to 12pm at a community venue in West Heidelberg. There is also another group meeting at 7pm on the 3rd Monday of the month. The time of the meeting varies if the group has a social outing or lunch planned. The group welcomes all women affected by breast cancer, including carers. Activities include peer discussion, social activities, education and relaxation sessions. Activities are planned once a year and vary depending on the needs of the group members. There are no fees to attend meetings, however the costs of outings are paid for by individual members. Call 13 11 20 for more information, including the exact address, and to be put in contact with the group leader.
Please note: Meeting location and contact details are not displayed publicly to protect the privacy and safety of all group participants. Call 13 11 20 for more information about a group.
If you can't find what you need, try entering a keyword to search the whole record: for example women or stoma or Werribee.
If there are no groups for the specific cancer type you are looking for, consider whether a group without a specific cancer focus would suit you or call 13 11 20 to find individual supports.
