Tobacco and alcohol use among Victoria secondary school students

This study aims to:
  • obtain prevalence estimates of tobacco smoking and alcohol drinking among secondary school children throughout Victoria at three-yearly intervals since 1996, to obtain prevalence estimates of secondary students' use of illicit substances and analgesics. In 2008, the ninth survey in this series was conducted.
  • relate family structure, social support, ethnicity, and substance use attitudes to use of substances among secondary students.

The survey is conducted every three years.
