Tobacco control IMPACT study

This study relates the timing and strength of state and national tobacco control policies and mass media campaigns to change in smoking prevalence, using monthly population survey data from Australia’s five largest capital cities. The project continues work undertaken in a study previously funded by an NHMRC Project Grant.  In addition, the study documents change over time in current vaping and current smoking in Australia’s five largest capital cities from February 2018.
