Experimental studies of menu labelling at fast food restaurant chains

This project undertakes studies to inform policy around menu disclosure policies and the development of associated public messaging. The project conducts experimental studies of different menu labelling options, including various combinations of kilojoule labelling and health star labelling to determine whether they assist consumers to make healthier food choices. Output is in the form of reports for funders, with the main findings being submitted for publication to peer-reviewed journals.
