Property Owners Terms and Conditions

  1. The Holiday Break Program is organised by Cancer Council Victoria ABN 61 426 486 715, ACN 608 530 972 (“Cancer Council Victoria”).
  2. Cancer Council Victoria is collecting your personal information on this registration form for the purposes of administering the Holiday Break Program including to ensure we have accurate details about your property, to keep you informed about the Holiday Break Program and to seek your feedback on our service.  Your name, telephone number, holiday property address and email address may be given to guests who make a booking to stay at your property (“the Property”).
  3. Our Privacy Policy, available on our website at www.cancervic.org.au or on request by calling 9514 6100 contains further details about how we handle your personal information, including how to request access to and correction of your personal information, how to make a privacy complaint and how we will deal with such a complaint.
  4. You agree that the details in this Registration Form are correct and that if any of the details change you will notify Cancer Council Victoria.
  5. Cancer Council Victoria does not provide any warranty as to the suitability or condition of the accommodation provided (including upkeep, maintenance or safety).
  6. You agree to complete and implement a COVIDSafe Plan for your accommodation Property.
  7. You agree to regularly check and comply with government travel warnings and restrictions, travel advice and local laws in relation to your Property.
  8. You agree to comply, and keep updated with any Cancer Council Victoria requirements, Victorian Government requirements and Accommodation Industry Guidelines, including but not limited to the following:
    1. wearing a mask or face covering when required;
    2. practice safe physical distancing (1.5m) from guests and minimise direct contact in enclosed spaces; and
    3. practice good hygiene by following cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
  9. You agree to implement and use the free Victorian Government QR Code Service to enable contact tracing.
  10. You are responsible for your own health and safety and will promptly notify Cancer Council Victoria of any event or circumstance that has, or is likely to have, any adverse effect on others’ health or safety during their stay.
  11. Cancer Council Victoria may in its sole discretion, cancel a booking without prior notice where it has been notified that a guest or property owner is unwell.
  12. Cancer Council Victoria (including its employees, contractors and agents) shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, penalties, expenses or demands arising from the guest’s or other occupant’s use of the Property.
  13. Cancer Council Victoria (including its employees, contractors and agents) are released from all liability arising directly or indirectly from the guest’s or other occupant’s use of the Property.
  14. Cancer Council Victoria reserves the right to alter these Terms from time to time.
