Daffodil Circle

We are growing a community of passionate supporters who have decided to make a lasting impact by leaving a legacy for future generations. We would love for you to join our community.

Once you have let us know your generous decision to include a gift to us in your Will, our way of showing thanks and appreciation will be to include you in our Daffodil Circle. We are mindful that this society is not for everyone, so you can opt out of the Daffodil Circle if you wish.

What you will receive as a Daffodil Circle member

You will be invited to join us at special functions where you can meet, socialise and hear firsthand updates from our leadership team, researchers, nurses and other Cancer Council Victoria supporters.

Daffodil Circle Pack

You will also receive a welcome pack in the mail including a special daffodil pin, a copy of our most recent impact report, our latest newsletter, and more. The occasional newsletter will continue to be sent out to members showing insights into our work. However, you have the ability to choose what communications you’d like to receive from us.

In addition, you will have direct access to your own Gift in Will Relationship Manager who will be available to discuss anything in relation to your legacy.

We also love to know what inspired you to include Cancer Council Victoria in your Will, or who your special gift is in honour of. To help us get to know you better, we encourage Daffodil Circle members to share with us their stories – but you have total control over what you choose to share.

Upcoming events for members

2021 Thank You Event

Daffodil circle event

Our end of year event is our way of saying ‘Thank You’ to our wonderful Daffodil Circle members for the far-sighted thoughtfulness they have shown by including a gift to Cancer Council Victoria in their Will. The event is an opportunity for Daffodil Circle members to come together, meet other members, and hear first-hand about Cancer Council Victoria’s work.

Save the date for our 2021 event: Wednesday 24 November at 12 noon

Coffee & Connections

Coffee & Connections brings together like-minded Daffodil Circle members at a local coffee shop to help foster continued connection with Cancer Council Victoria. This is an informal event; a chance to simply connect with other members and Cancer Council employees over a cup of coffee.

At each event there is an invited guest speaker who will share their expertise and highlights from their program of work, with the ability for all attendees to interact and ask questions.

Our next Coffee & Connections event will be a virtual event and is proposed for December.

For more information regarding any of the above events, please email us at bequests@cancervic.org.au. (Please note, all these events are by invitation only as numbers are strictly limited.)
