What if I have cancer?

It is important to note that messages aimed at preventing cancer aren’t always the same for those going through or recovering from cancer treatment.

What if I have cancer?

This campaign is designed to prevent weight-related cancers. This means some of the diet and lifestyle messages may not be appropriate for those experiencing cancer. If you or a loved one is living with cancer you can find out more about diet and exercise during and after treatment. There are also recommendations for exercise.

Cancer Council Victoria offers a range of services to support people affected by cancer, including their family, friends and carers. You can visit the Get support section of our website, contact an experienced cancer nurse online or for information and support call 13 11 20*.

Living with Cancer, Wellness and Life After Cancer Education Programs
