Clinical trials are a gold standard treatment option, yet many people find the decision of whether to participate in a clinical trial a challenging one. Of those newly diagnosed with cancer in Victoria, only 6% are recruited into clinical trials. To increase patient access to and information about clinical trials, Cancer Council Victoria has recently improved the Victorian Cancer Trials Link website.

Join us for the 20th anniversary of Relay For Life

The year 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of Relay For Life in Australia. The first Relay For Life took place in Murrumbeena, Victoria; 261 participants raised $75,000 for Cancer Council Victoria. Twenty years on, Relays are now held in every State and Territory, with more than 134,000 participants raising over $14 million each year for Cancer Councils across the country.
