For 11-year-old Rayhaan, a Sunday morning soccer game had a lot more riding on it than the result or whether he played well.
Hosting a ‘Kick Goals Against Cancer’ fundraiser at his home ground in Altona Meadows, Rayhaan spent the morning walking around the grounds encouraging people to donate. And, when he was on the pitch, his sister played her part asking match goers for their support.
“By the end of the day, I had raised $514,” an enthusiastic Rayhaan said.
