The Clinical Network Executive Committee (the Committee) is a dedicated advisory body of the Clinical Network, which harnesses the voice of clinicians and researchers to improve outcomes for all Victorians affected by cancer. The purpose of the Committee is to collectively provide expert clinical advice and direction to Cancer Council Victoria, in line with our Strategic Plan. Members of the Committee volunteer their time and expertise to inform and promote a range of policy and program initiatives to improve cancer care. Insights drawn from the Committee complement our recently formed Community Advisory Network.
Current objectives
The primary objectives of the Committee are to:
- Champion and advocate for equitable access to best practice, evidence-based cancer prevention, early detection, research and care for all Victorians affected by cancer
- Represent the needs of the broad range of health professionals involved in delivering cancer prevention, early detection, research and care
- Provide opportunities for information exchange, education, and discussion across the state
Members
The Clinical Network Executive Committee represent the multidisciplinary cancer workforce, and include members with interest and expertise that align with our current priorities.
