Nurse scholarships

Cancer Council Victoria is offering financial assistance for regional Victorian AHPRA Registered Nurses (Division 1) and Registered Midwives (Division 1) to become cervical screening providers 

  • Applications are due by Friday 3 May 2024
  • Applicants must work in regional Victoria
  • Successful applicants are required to commence an endorsed cervical screening provider training course in 2024 and undertake a reflective practice activity
  • Successful applicants must apply for Certification when they have completed their training
  • Successful applicants will be required to provide feedback on their scholarship experience to improve and support future grant development through an evaluation process. Responses may be used for promotional material and applicants will be contacted by the Cancer Council Victoria Communications team for permission prior to use or for additional opportunities to share insights
  • Criteria weighting will prioritise nurses working with under-screened communities
