The Clinical Network Executive Committee harnesses the voice of clinicians and researchers to improve outcomes for all Victorians affected by cancer. It aims to improve the capacity of the Victorian cancer clinical community through its work in policy and advocacy. The Clinical Network Executive Committee also advises Cancer Council on all clinical aspects of cancer, with these insights complemented by our recently formed Community Advisory Network.
Current priorities
Our priorities are aligned with the Cancer Council Victoria Strategic Plan:
- Improve access to mental health support (Mental health)
- Advocate for 13 11 20 service to become the central point of contact for information and support across the cancer care pathway (Navigation)
- Tackle inequitable access to treatment and supportive care (Equity)
- Reduce the costs of cancer (Costs of cancer)
Members
The Clinical Network Executive Committee represent the multidisciplinary cancer workforce, and include members with interest and expertise that align with our current priorities.
