I am writing to ask for your help to remove unhealthy food and drink ads from public transport (including buses, trains, trams, stations and shelters) and within 500m of our local schools.|Local children and young people deserve to grow up in a community that supports their health and wellbeing. Please write or select an option].|I know I am not alone – thousands of Victorians have signed onto Cancer Council Victoria’s Food Fight campaign to get unhealthy food and drink ads removed from these places. An unhealthy diet can put kids at greater risk of becoming above a healthy weight and developing serious diseases later in life, including cancer, later in life. Research by Cancer Council Victoria has found that 66% of Victorian parents want unhealthy food and drink ads removed from public transport, and even more (80%) want them banned near schools.|Our kid’s health is at stake, and we can no longer afford to wait.
