imagine that lock up

‘Imagine that.’ is the hero line for Gifts in Wills. It speaks to the aspirational nature of gifts in Wills and the brighter future supporters strive for.

‘Imagine’ messaging invites Gifts in Wills supporters, and those intending or considering, to picture what the future can be if cancer research is well funded. It is an opportunity to demonstrate the current challenges with cancer care alongside potential solutions and outcomes.

By inviting supporters to imagine these better scenarios, we can maintain a hopeful tone while drawing their attention to ongoing issues affecting treatment and survival outcomes and compelling them to commit to act.

Cancer-free future is a key aspirational line used in Gifts in Wills messaging. GiW supporters are motivated by a belief in a cancer-free future, which can be communicated in various ways:

  • We aspire to a future that is free of cancer.
  • Even when cancer is still part of our lives, the idea of a cancer-free future is one that gives hope that anyone diagnosed with cancer can enter treatment confident they will one day be cancer free.
  • It is the hope of every person diagnosed and their families that they will one day hear the words “You’re cancer free” from their doctors.
  • It is the trust a parent has in their child’s treatment that will ensure they will be cancer free in the future and remain cancer free.
