Stoma Appliance Scheme

Department of Health and Aged Care

Run by the Australian government, the Stoma Appliance Scheme provides subsidised stoma appliances and products to Australians who have a stoma. The scheme helps people live their lives normally without the added financial stress of paying for stoma-related products. To access subsidised products through the Stoma Appliance Scheme, individuals must join one of the 20 independent stoma associations in Australia.
