Robert Connor Dawes Foundation
The Robert Connor Dawes Foundation provides blocks of 10 private in-home music therapy sessions for children and young adults under 25 who have been diagnosed with a brain tumour. These sessions are free and provided by a qualified, registered music therapist. Applications are completed confidentially online, and sessions are available both in-person and online across Australia.Music therapy is an allied health profession that has been found to improve speech and motor deficits, boost mood, reduce anxiety, enhance quality of life and support young people to express thoughts and feelings. It is non-invasive, uplifting and fun, all of which help the heart sing and the mind heal.
