Located in Wodonga, the Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation provides culturally appropriate services to meet the health and wellbeing needs of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.The Aboriginal community controlled organisation aims to stimulate positive change, through self-management and self-determination. It connects and works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to become more confident, take control of all aspects of their life and create pathways to a better future.The organisation provides early years support, including Koori pre-school and maternity services, as well as home and community care, bush fire recovery support, Aboriginal health promotion and chronic care, child and family services, and housing and justice support, among many other services.
