Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Cooperative
Goolum Goolum ensures the provision of effective, accessible and equitable health, welfare and family services to the local Aboriginal community. It is the principal Aboriginal community controlled health organisation within the local government areas of the Horsham Rural City Council, Northern Grampians, Hindmarsh Shire Council, West Wimmera Shire Council, Ararat Rural City Council and Yarriambiack Shire Council.Goolum Goolum is dedicated to supporting and advocating for Aboriginal people, fostering cultural pride, and to ensuring that service delivery respects Aboriginal culture, history and experience.Services offered include a medical clinic, community home support program, disability support, integrated family services, kinship care, Indigenous smoking support and a men's group, among many others.
