The Dhauwurd-Wurrung Elderly & Community Health Service provides comprehensive general and allied health care to the Portland community. It also offers a wide range of support programs.An Aboriginal community controlled organisation, the service strives to provide community members with access to culturally appropriate, patient-centred and effective services, which improve physical, spiritual, psychological, social and emotional health and wellbeing.It offers medical services, home and community care, mother and child health and wellbeing support, Indigenous smoking support, a Koori youth program, justice support, alcohol and drug support, a cultural healing centre and playgroup.
